Opsyrus 2007


Rules & Regulations

  1. All students currently pursuing full-time post-graduate management degree from any management school are eligible.

  2. Each team can comprise of maximum two members, both from same institute.

  3. A team can submit entries for both the topics mentioned above.

  4. Each paper must be preceded by an Executive Summary of not more than 500 words.

  5. The word count should not exceed 2000 words (excluding summary and tables / graphs / appendices).

  6. The document must be prepared in Microsoft Word in Times New Roman font, sized 12 with 1.5 line spacing.

  7. The participants should furnish the following details on the cover page: -
    Name, contact address, phone number, e-mail address, name of the institute and the word count of the paper

  8. The name of the participants or any other information should not be mentioned anywhere else in the paper other than the first page.

  9. References to existing literature must be appropriately quoted.

  10. The Paper must be an original piece of work and must not have been submitted earlier elsewhere.

  11. Plagiarism will strictly lead to disqualification.

  12. Participants are required to E-mail a soft copy of the paper to oig.iiml@gmail.com.

  13. The e-mail subject and the title of the softcopy should be -
    "PDR/RAS_Institute Name (Topic Code_Institute Name)", where PDR is code for first topic and RAS is code for second topic.

  14. The submitted papers will be exclusive property of OIG, and OIG shall reserve the rights to use the papers in the form that they deem fit.

  15. In case of any disputes, the decision of the panel of judges and the organizers shall be final and binding.

  16. Each paper will be judged on following criteria
         * Originality of work
         * Methodology of approach
         * Extent of literature review
         * Implications and conclusions
         * Relevance to current industry practices
